How does it work?
The Efergy Elite Smart Meter comprises of three modest components. There’s a square, portable display monitor measuring only 85mmx85mm, a sensor and a transmitter. The sensor effortlessly clips on to the live cable which runs from your meter to the fuse box and samples the electric current. This information is sent via Efergy Elite Smart Meter’s wireless transmitter to the remote receiver which can be wall mounted (ideally where its easy for all to see). The Efergy Elite Smart Meter’s receiver computes approximate power use, energy cost and greenhouse gas generation and displays the results on a large portable LCD screen. The data is stored on the Efergy Elite Smart Meter daily in an easy to access CPU memory so you can clearly see the effects of changing your energy habits. Comparing day-to-day usage gives you direct feedback on how changes in energy use effect both costs and your personal contribution to climate change in terms of carbon emissions.
