The Freeloader Solar Charger can provide two hours of talk time for a mobile, eighteen hours of charge for an iPod and up to two and a half hours for a PSP. Its solar panels mean that you never need to be near a power supply to charge your phone or iPod again.
How does it work?
To charge the Freeloader Solar Chargers’ Li-ion battery, either plug the supplied USB cable into a suitable device, or detach and deploy the solar panels and place in direct sunlight. A full charge can take as little as six hours via the solar panels, or three hours via the USB connector. To charge hand held devices, simply attach the required adapter and connect the battery to the hand held device. The central LED on the Freeloader Solar Charger will turn red when transferring power, once all power is drained the LED will switch off. Once charged the Freeloader Solar Charger can retain power for up to three months.
