The Solar Bluetooth GPS Receiver converts your smart phone into a sat nav or GPS system and allows you to track both the distance and route you have covered at any given time.
Why we like it:
It’s small (the size of a credit card), slim, compact (it’s only 1.5cm deep) and is one of the smallest Solar Bluetooth GPS receivers around, making the Solar Bluetooth GPS Receiver the ideal gadget for runners, or hikers ensuring that you know where you are, allows you to track how far you have walked or run…and for tired athletes, the quickest way home or to the pub! Of course, the fact that the Solar Bluetooth GPS Receiver is solar powered means that you never need to run out of battery again. This is also the ideal device for directionally challenged drivers, or those going to a new place for the first time – or even for someone who never needs a map, but still tends to get lost!
How does it work?
The Solar Bluetooth GPS Receiver’s solar panel will charge it in normal daylight conditions, but works best in sunlight. Of course, if this isn’t for you, a car charger and mains charger are provided for backup. Fully charged, it will be powered for up to thirty hours operation, and is compatible with all navigation software. You will however, require a suitable navigation software package for your PDA / phone.
