The Chimney balloon is a cost effective and simple way to stop your chimney losing heat, preventing draughts and reducing noise.
The chimney balloon not only stops cold draughts coming in but also prevents heat being lost out of your chimney.
It is designed to be used time and time again and can last for up to 4 years!
All you need to do to install the balloon is open the tap and blow a little air into the balloon so you can place it into the chimney in the position required. After this you need to complete the inflation either by mouth or using an air pump.
And the great thing is that if you forget the balloon is inflated it will shrink in 40 seconds allowing the smoke and fumes to come out of the chimney. You will need to buy a new balloon but there will be no damage to your fireplace.

What size do I need?
Chimney Balloons come is a range of sizes to fit most chimney sizes. Measure your chimney about a foot or so out of sight where your chimney balloon will fit. Look at the images below to identify what type of chimney you have and use this to measure which balloon size you'll need. It's only necessary to take an approximate measurement. As a guide we've included main chimney types next to the size.
