This cold water tank insulation jacket is the perfect solution to stop your household cold water tank from freezing in winter
Why we like it:
We know that this product doesn’t help to keep your house warm, but it will keep your cold water tank insulated. On the coldest winter nights you run the risk of your water supply freezing, this product will ensure that even on these nights your cold water tank will not freeze. Installation should take approximately 10 minuets, simply fit it round your cold water tank, like a coat, in order to insulate your domestic cold water tank. To further protect your water pipes from freezing, install Thermawrap spiral pipe wrap, to keep your pipes insulated too.
How does it work?
It simply works like a thermos, insulating the cold water tank, from cold temperatures. Its quick and easy to install, simply remove panels from pack. Unroll each panel and shake gently to allow the glassfibre filling to expand. Place the panel around the tank, allowing for outflows and fittings, and secure with fixing tape(s) provided. Take care not to overtighten tape(s) as compressing the insulation reduces the effectiveness.
