ThermaWrap Top Up Quilt is a loft insulation product which is designed to be installed on the underside of your roof rafters.

One of the most simple things we can do to reduce heating costs and energy consumption in our homes is to insulate our loft space. ThermaWrap loft insulation is different to other insulation methods as it is installed on the underside of the roof rafters rather than like classic glass wool which is installed between ceiling joists. The ThermaWrap Top Up Quilt can be used in conjunction with existing loft insulation or can be installed by itself. What’s amazing about this product is that its approximately only 15mm thick, but has the insulation properties of 100mm thick Glass wool. It is very flexible and quick and easy to install.
How does it work?
ThermaWrap Top Up Quilt is a multilayered loft insulation product. The composition of this insulation product effectively deals with all form of heat loss. Its design means that not only in winter does it keep heat in and cold out, but in the summer it reflects the heat of the sun back keeping your house cooler, and reducing the need for air conditioning, keeping your home up to 15ºc cooler. ThermaWrap Top Quilt works most effectively by reflecting infra-red radiation. This product does not require any special clothing, unlike traditional loft insulators as it is itch free.
