How does it work?
The Solar Mate II is a solar powered lighting kit in a box. In the box is a solar panel, two low energy light bulbs and all the fixings you’ll need to light 16m2 for between five to seven hours every day (five hours in winter, and seven hours in summer). A standard car/caravan battery is required but is not supplied with this kit. The Solar Mate II comes with a 10 year warranty, and so will easily pay back its investment many times – as there are no electricity bills to be paid! The bulbs supplied have a 3000 hour lifecycle, and are fully replaceable, whereas the solar panel has a life expectancy of 35 years.
